HopePhil exists in honour of Phillippa-Jane Elford and the belief that care, dignity and support should remain within reach for people facing serious illness.
It is an emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual earthquake that shakes entire families. Too many people cannot afford treatment. Too many feel lost, unsupported, or pressured into decisions they don’t fully understand. Too many suffer alone. HopePhil exists to change that.
Inspired by Phillippa’s strength and never-give-up spirit, HopePhil provides practical support, community connection and renewed possibility for people in need.

Phillippa-Jane Elford’s life, warmth and resilience remain at the centre of HopePhil’s identity. Her story reminds us that hope is not passive — it is something we carry, share and build together.
The Trust was established to honour her memory by supporting people who need compassion, care and practical help during difficult seasons.
HopePhil & LifeShine
HopePhil Trust works alongside the LifeShine Wellness Centre to help people facing life-threatening diseases access compassionate support when treatment costs become overwhelming.
LifeShine provides an environment centred on holistic wellbeing, personal care and renewed hope. HopePhil strengthens that journey by approaching corporate and community partners, raising awareness and helping mobilise the financial support needed by selected patients.
Together, the organisations share a faith-driven commitment: that no person’s future should be decided by cost, and that every patient deserves to be treated with humanity, dignity and hope.

We try to honour Phillippa Jane and John by standing beside every person who reaches out to us. We honour their legacy by helping families find clarity, strength, and compassion during the hardest moments of their lives. We honour their memory by ensuring that hope is never out of reach.
